the essential ingredient

‘Money is not, properly speaking, one of the subjects
of commerce… It is none of the wheels of trade:
It is the oil which renders the motion of the wheels
more smooth and easy.’

David Hume (1754)

With a focus on building companies within the public markets, Marwyn has carried out over £1 billion ($2 billion) of acquisitions in the last 36 months financed by Marwyn managed funds and by our fund investors who co-invest on a case by case basis through the Marwyn Co-Investment Program

We invest our money on the same terms as management and other investors and will remain investors alongside management until the company is ultimately sold.

We focus on investing in companies using the public markets, incorporating specific publically listed vehicles for each investment, as we believe that the public markets, with our support and assistance, offer management a better environment through which to buy, build and manage their companies than offered through some traditional private equity routes.
